It's a busy day today.
Promoting shows and letting Burj Khalifa go free into the wild unknown, like a kid with only an apple and their wits to see them through.
Burj Khalifa was written after a family holiday.
I was musing over solid objects moving constantly. Frenetically, whilst appearing so stoic and stationary.
I guess the artistic process is a bit like that. From the outside one might appear like they are withdrawn and silent, while on the inside an airport is at work on a weekend. Themes taking off like planes. Melodies shuffling round ones brain like boarding passengers.
Then you record them. Put them on that plane. Wave goodbye to them as they take off.
